Goodreads Summary:
Wingman rule number two: never reveal how much you want them.

Lex hates Gabi. Gabi hates Lex. But, hey, at least the hate is mutual, right? All Lex has to do is survive the next few weeks training Gabi in all the ways of Wingmen Inc. and then he can be done with her. But now that they have to work together, the sexual tension and fighting is off the charts. He isn’t sure if he wants to strangle her or throw her against the nearest sturdy table and have his way with her.

But Gabi has a secret, something she’s keeping from not just her best friend but her nemesis too. Lines are blurred as Lex becomes less the villain she’s always painted him to be…and starts turning into something more. Gabi has always hated the way she’s been just a little bit attracted to him—no computer-science major should have that nice of a body or look that good in glasses—but “Lex Luthor” is an evil womanizer. He’s dangerous. Gabi should stay far, far away.
Then again, she’s always wanted a little danger.

Review

The Matchmaker's Replacement was just as fun if not more intense than the first book in the Wingmen Inc. series! Theses characters do not disappoint and bring all their charms and sincerity to the pages.

The amount of push and pull between the leads was just right for the story. It will have the readers tense in anticipation without drawn out plot points. My very favourite thing about The Matchmaker's Replacement is the witty dialogue. The ironic nicknames and their ability to make nerdy references had my face sore from laughing. Whether it's the bromance between Lex and Ian or the bickering between Gabi and Lex, they're all a riot. Seriously A+ on the humour.

Gabi and Lex both have strong personalities. If you've read The Matchmaker's Playbook (you really should if you haven't!) you'd know their fights are pretty sharp and charged with tension. While the banter between the two were hilarious, the intensity is what you want to watch out for. Their chemistry was off the charts; their lust for each other even more palpable as time went on. When they inevitably gave in to their hearts' desire it was all steaminess. Resistance was futile.

I'm skeptical about the boys' overwhelming success and their roguish perfectness but I realize there's no harm in wishing they were real~ If only the fun in these books could translate to real life! Have a good chuckle and blush with the Wingmen Inc. stories. ;)
